As an end-to-end marketer, I transform chaotic communications into strategic stories that drive engagement and action.

I have 10+ years of marketing and communications experience in strategy, project management and implementation. I can plan campaigns and think big picture, but I can also get in the weeds to execute effectively. Whether it's writing web copy optimized for SEO, re-organizing site architecture to enhance user journeys or monitoring Google Analytics to extract actionable data, I find joy in all steps of the process.

My B.A. in public relations has served me well throughout my career, teaching me the foundation of strategic communication, strong writing, reputation management and relationship building with key stakeholders (both internal and external) and constituents.

Content Creation & Marketing

Creating and disseminating content that engages audiences and drives results is my favorite type of work. I’ve managed editorial calendars and developed written and visual content in the following formats: articles and blog posts (short and long-form), 1-pagers, fact sheets, infographics, emails, web and landing page copy, social media posts, photos and video.

I have extensive experience managing event logistics, operations and marketing, ranging from small-scale, “lunch-and-learn” in-person workshops to large-scale, virtual innovation showcases and competitions. I’ve designed strategic plans and tactics for pre- and post-event marketing, such as promotional content, day-of event collateral and event recaps.

Graphic Design

While I’m no expert, I like to think I have a good eye for simple, yet compelling design. I have intermediate experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and love using Canva as a backup when my skills fall short. I’ve created event collateral (like posters and programs), print pieces (like flyers and postcards), digital graphics (for web and social) and swag items.

SEO Strategy

In our ever-changing digital world, staying on top of SEO strategies is key to success. From local businesses, to international corporations, I’ve conducted keyword research and analysis, optimized webpage content and other on-site factors and built backlinks. I’ve also worked with web development teams to implement technical on-site SEO tactics such as URL restructuring, adding sitemaps and fixing page speed.

Social Media Marketing

As a social media manager, I’ve created organic and paid strategies from scratch, for clients ranging from small businesses to national brands to top-tier universities. I’ve served as community manager handling customer service issues while also creating unique and engaging content (copy, photos, live and produced video, GIFs, stories) that drives website traffic and increases brand awareness.

Website & Blog Management

Another favorite technical skill of mine is managing websites (Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, Wordpress, Unily) to improve content and fix poor UX and UI design. I’ve written web copy, created graphics, implemented SEO strategies and been a part of several website redesign projects. I’ve also had the pleasure of managing clients’ blog strategy by coordinating editorial content and a publishing schedule with collaborators and freelancers.
